The Role
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant looking to take ownership of key financial functions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational success in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment.

Responsibilities
As an integral part of the finance team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and supporting the business through insightful analysis. You will work across a multi-entity environment and contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes.

You will provide:
• Preparation and maintenance of financial records, statements, and reports
• Monthly reconciliations and journal entries
• Assistance with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Preparation of the monthly and quarterly BAS
• Support during internal and external audits
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
• Monitoring of internal controls and process improvements
• Collaboration with other departments to support business outcomes

About You: 
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards it)
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting or financial roles
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Confident with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
