The Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving the recruitment and hiring process for our retail sites nationwide. This on-site role reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead and is based out of the Adelaide office. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent who align with the company values and meet the specific needs of the site teams.

You will provide:

• Utilising sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates to provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Conducting initial screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates’ fit for open roles.
• Partnering with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and providing guidance throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, as well as maintain accurate employee records throughout the end to end recruitment process.

About You

• Proven Recruitment Experience – Minimum of 1 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a corporate or retail environment.
• Strong Sourcing Skills – Ability to use various sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking, to identify and engage top talent.
• Excellent Communication & Relationship-Building Skills – Strong ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and key stakeholders while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Recruitment Process Knowledge – Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing and onboarding.
• Understanding of Employment Laws & Compliance – Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure a legally compliant hiring process.
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment – Skilled in managing multiple open roles and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality hiring standards.
• Tech-Savvy & ATS Experience – Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline hiring processes.
