Finance Business Partner

 We are seeking a Finance Business Partner on a 12 months fixed term contract who will be responsible for providing strategic financial support and actionable insights to internal stakeholders by analysing business performance and financial activities. You will leverage your financial expertise and analytical skills to drive improved business outcomes by identifying key financial drivers such as revenue, cost efficiency, profitability, and investment strategies. Your contributions

• Act as the main finance partner for the OTR brand, providing insights to help improve category performance and support decision making.
• Build strong knowledge in margin, pricing, inventory, and factors affecting total loss.
• Help category managers assess product mix, pricing, promotions, and supplier deals.
• Support planning activities like budgeting and forecasting for merchandise.
• Create regular reports to track performance vs. budget, forecast, and last year; highlight risks and suggest improvements.
•  Work closely with stakeholders to support and challenge key decisions.
• Help consolidate reports and analysis for both OTR and Express brands.
• Review inventory returns, shrink levels, and margin breakdowns regularly.
• Assist in improving reporting tools and data analysis.
• Partner with IT teams to improve data systems and reporting structures.

What we are looking for

• Advanced Excel and Power BI Skills
• 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Background in a similar role within the retail industry is essential
• Proven background driving financial performance and support business growth through data-driven insights and analysis 
• Being able to work across multiple stakeholders within a multi-faceted organization
• Excellent communication skills are essential for the position.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with a collaborative and proactive approach to work.
• Retail experience is desirable, not essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
