Production Manager – Krispy Kreme

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As the Production Manager at Krispy Kreme, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless production of our iconic doughnuts. You'll lead a team of passionate individuals, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence in our production facility.

The following position will report directly to the Head Of Krispy Kreme SA/NT and work closely with the Retail Manager, Production Quality Control, Key Holders and Supervisors.

Your contributions 

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support to maximise performance.
• Implement and maintain best practices for production processes, including dough mixing, frying, glazing, and packaging.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of ingredients and packaging materials.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics to optimise production efficiency and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
• Prepare and analyse production reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

What we are looking for 

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry.
• Proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed.
